People are meant to move!

People are meant to move. Ok, I understand, not everybody has the privilege to be able to. But everyone who can, and wants a healthy body, must move.

Any kind of movement is considered to be exercise. And exercise burns calories. When we want to burn more calories, we need to exercise.

What does it mean? It simply means walking, dancing, cleaning house, washing car. Do some exercise every day!

Exercise improves your endurance and the health of your lungs, heart, and circulatory system as well as gut health. It can also help lower the risk of many diseases that are common in older adults, such as diabetes, certain cancers, and heart disease.

When we move, we breath more frequently, and the hearth beat gets stronger as it needs to move the blood more rapidly. And as a result, your body gets more oxygen in all part of your body.

Not all exercise is the same. Some burns fat, some burns glycogen (stored glucose) and muscle. Yes, you can lose muscle with exercise.

Remember this:

-When you are able to breath normally, you are burning fat - walking, slow jogging, swimming, slow cycling, etc.

-When you are doing HIIT training (high intensity interval taining), you are burning both fat and glycogen, because you are doing explosive exercise followed by complete rest.

-When you are out of breath - running, fast cycling, high intensity rowing, etc. for long period of time, your main fuel is sugar, either in form of glucose, glycogen, or your body will break down proteins from your muscle to get quick energy.

For burning fat, you must have steady breathing. You need oxygen to burn fat.

You burn stored energy (fat and glycogen) only when there is not glucose in your bloodstream, which means in fasted state, at least 4 hours after a meal.
