Method

  • Step 1

Get the coals lit to start up your BBQ and oil your grill.

  • Step 2

Cut lengthways down the centre of each sausage, but only go halfway. Mix your Anchor butter, cheddar, garlic, and chilli in a bowl, then stuff the mixture down the centre of each sausage.

  • Step 3

Wrap the stuffed sausages in the bacon. To make them easier to flip, pop pierce a skewer lengthways down the centre of each stuffed dog.

  • Step 4

Pop your sausages on the oiled BBQ and sizzle for 15 mins until cooked (the internal temp should be 71 °C and 160 °F).

  • Step 5

Place your sausages into their buns and top with cheese, onions, nachos, and jalapenos.

  • Step 6

Show us your creations on Instagram – it’s @anchor_dairy with #AnchorBBQ!

  • Step 7

Anchor Hack Alert - thread your sausages onto skewers so easier to turn on the BBQ!
